6 of 10 taken

Book a free review with an appointed representative of Alpha Wealth Financial Advisers Pte. Ltd. You'll go through the reliefs you may qualify for, such as SRS contributions, and what each one could mean for your tax bill.

Illustrative: a foreigner with $200,000 chargeable income making a full $35,700 SRS contribution takes tax from $21,150 to $14,724. Citizens and PRs have a lower ceiling. Singapore tax resident, within the $80,000 personal relief cap. IRAS rates, YA 2027.

Who this is for

Earn more than
$100,000 annually?

If yes, this is worth your time.

Above $100,000, your top slice of income is taxed at 11.5% or more. Move part of it into a government-run retirement scheme before 31 December and that slice leaves this year's assessment.

Illustrative, based on a full contribution and IRAS resident rates for YA 2027. Foreigners share the same higher limit, so an EP and an S Pass holder on the same income save the same amount. Your own figure depends on your income and the reliefs you already claim.

There's nothing clever going on here. These are deductions IRAS publishes, with limits set by law. What varies is how much room you have left.

A note from us

Why we are doing this

Knowing the SRS deadline exists and knowing your own number are different things. Only one of them lowers your bill.

Every January someone messages us after opening their tax bill, works out they could have paid less, and asks if it's too late. It is. The window shut on 31 December.

So we asked an appointed representative of Alpha Wealth Financial Advisers Pte. Ltd. to open ten slots and do the sums with you properly, before the deadline. Thirty minutes, complimentary, no products sold, no pestering. If the review says you're already maxed out, that's a real answer too.

That's just our 5 cents.
